Recovering from surgery

Hello to all. Boy i have had enough! I just want my plain old boring life back! On April 6th I had exploratory surgery to check the lesions on my liver. Great news no cancer! Then I had 1/2 of my pancreas removed as well as my spleen. Lab results said the cyst would have turned into cancer so good that it is out. I'm trying to get stronger and heal. Bless all of you strong woman because I feel so weak. XxTina

Hi Tina. Great news no cancer, now as you said you need to get your strength back, you still had quite an invasive surgery and your body need to heal plus I'm sure you had the added stress of not knowing if it was or not,now is the time to get your boring old life back😀or maybe not so boring..Take care Lorraine xx

You must be feeling so relieved it’s not cancer back so now take it gently while things heal inside. I don’t know what the implications are of having half the pancreas removed but I know a number of ladies on here have had their spleen removed.

Take care!

Speedy recovery to you. Big ops like that do knock the stuffing out of you, be patient and kind to yourself with gentle walks. Invest in looking after yourself and 'boring' and wonderfully normal will be here sooner than you think. Fabulous that you are cancer free and can go back to carefree with a bit more appreciation of 'boring' thrown in 😁. Xx

Cancer free is wonderful news and thankfully summer is around the corner and a good excuse to laze around getting a good tan. Take care of yourself and have lots of treats. xx

Hi Tina. Sounds like the surgeons did a good job. You will see a difference day by day in recovering your strength. Lots of fluids, nice food & small walks....plus some sunshine we hope! 🙂☀️🌺🌷🌸
