Cannabis oil information - handy website - my germ war....

Hi girls. Hope we are all as well as we can be. Thankfully my terminal flu has decided to move over and let the beast take the lead again. I can't afford the amount of toilet rolls I was getting through every day with mucous membranes vomiting up from all facial exit points. The photo is how I imagined the bug war was happening within me last week and the flu was winning. But, I digress.....

After calming down a little from Lily-Ann's post about having to fund her own avastin, I went searching for a good source of information about cannabis oil and came across this website by chance - cannabiscure.info/ - It seems to have been put together by people who use it rather than those that think they know about it. It is full of useful information and lots of articles relative to us all. Just scroll down to see them all. But, don't upset yourselves by reading the article about the UK being one of the worst places for cancer treatment otherwise you'll all want to emigrate and I only have two spare bedrooms!!

Have a lovely weekend girls. I'm going to make myself some "special" buns - purely for medicinal reasons of course.

Big hugs and love to you all xxxxxxxxxxx

That's great Kryssy, I wish I was there. I've only made peanut and chocolate cookies this morning. I wonder what they'll be like with a glass of rum and coke? xxx

About time that bastard decided to get lost!! 😊 as for the beast it can take the same advice!! As for LA’s post that’s just f***ing awful she has to fund her own Avastin maybe if the toffs high up took a pay reduction there would be more money for those that need it! Also people coming over from goodness knows where and running up a huge bill then buggering off without paying it!! There’s too many people who take advantage of the NHS getting unnecessary boob jobs and whatever else!! Hope you’re feeling better now? Xxx

Thanks for posting. It is a good site and your distinction between "people who use it rather than those that think they know about it" is apt. I have started to take the oil orally and after 2 days have found it very helpful. I have had this tremor (just feeling shaky) since front line IV/IP chemo and this seems to be helping. I have not as yet experienced an increase in appetite but am hoping that will happen as I am having to struggle to eat.

Thanks for the link to the site and hope you are feeling better. i actually thought Australia was the most behind place for cancer treatment! I use a site in UK, USA and Europe as we are so.... behind here. But other Aussies may disagree with me. But might explain what the Aussies are doing on this and the USA Inspire site! LOL

PS. By the way, Australia has just woken up to how much money they can make by growing medical cannabis and selling it overseas. In the meantime, if you need it in Oz, the procedures are so lengthy, complicated and difficult, including having to report to your local police station, WHAT! it takes around a year to receive it here. I could be very rude, but shall restrain myself.

PPS. Sorry, I'm having a vent. There was a lovely woman growing medical cannabis here for a few years and giving it to cancer patients FOR FREE. A few months ago she was arrested and is being charged. Disgraceful. Shame they don't arrest the folk selling ice and heroin.

Hi Kryssy, Just wanted to share a bit of experience with Avastin. My wife has had it as a 'maintenance drug' between chemo. It is very good at its job, and kept her ca125 stable for a long time (2 years +). However, it can be nasty stuff. It made my wife ache like mad and she was extremely tired for long periods. I also believe it can make your bones brittle and effect joints. In the end she had to come off it as she had lost over a third of her kidney function because of what the Avastin was doing to her. She is back on chemo now and her kidney function has improved significantly. For me, Avastin definitely has its benefits but they do come at a cost by way of the side effects. I know that everybody is different, and indeed that Avastin is not always available to everyone. If there is anything else that I can do to help, just drop me a line. Much Love Xx
