Baby it’s cold outside!
Is he a white dog? I can't see him anywhere. They love the snow so. I'm sad to say I've only had about thirty flakes of snow and that was last week. I did have some mini-floods today in the garden though with all the excess rain, and one of the mini-floods just where I planted some tulip bulbs so I suppose they're going to rot.
The empty beehive's roof blew off and so I had to hotfoot it up to my two occupied beehives (while he indoors was busy running round the garden picking up the pegs that had blown out of their basket on the rotary drier). All was safe with the bees (and the pegs) and I was wet through. Anyway, all is forgiven since it would appear he bought a tin of Quality Street except they don't seem to be in tins these days.
Hi Lynda, The snow does look lovely but as you said very cold I 've never seen snow, we are in our first week of summer and this Thursday it will reach 41c..near a 100f.
My youngest daughter always wanted to go to New York for new years eve to watch the ball in time square, so a couple of years back her and her husband went They loved New York but she said it was so cold that they watch the ball drop on the tv in they room.
We have the opposite here it will be a hot Christmas.
I was diagnosed 3 years ago and at the time my family was told I would not see the year out I'm still here but this is the first Christmas that I feel like celebrating so I'm cooking Christmas lunch at home, I've worried for the last 2 years that it was going to be my last, and it has not been...Love Lorraine xx🎄🎄 Merry Christmas
