Hi had laperoscopic SOB two weeks ago. I was hospitalised for 8 day on IV antibiotics. My experience has been very painful and not what i was told or expected. Severe pain low in my left abdomen and the incision site above my pubic bone is severely bruised and sore. Can anyone tell me if this is normal. ENM

NO, this does not sound normal. Please either see your doctor or get a second opinion. You could have a blood clot forming. Listen to your inner voice and know that if you think there's something wrong, best get it checked out. :)

I had this operation on 29th September and am back at work today. I had it done laproscopically and have had no problems with recovery. First few days I was very bloated and gassy, no pain and wounds have healed well. Back to normal levels of exercise. Please see your GP if you are experiencing problems. Hope all is well soon.
