Hi lovelies,

So after 5 Carbo/Caelyx my special person has had a fantastic response the biggest nodule was 11mm and is now 5mm and her CA125 is now 6 the lowest it’s ever beenso is now classed as dormant again.

We should be feeling fantastic, we’re happy it’s down but we don’t feel OMG OMG OMG we’re wondering if it’s the Dr we saw as we didn’t see our usual Dr the Dr we saw knows nothing she’s even told us we know more than her so she has earned the nickname Dr Useless although this time she did answer what we had to ask my special person said Dr Useless is frightened of me I have no idea why 🙄 I’m a really nice person when you get on my good side 🙃.

My special person has a thing about reoccurring every 6 months so I’m wondering if it’s because of that who knows???

Have a great day ladies and gentlemen xxx

Hi Callmemum . GREAT NEWS 🎉🎉I know we all react differently to chemo I've been lucky also like your special person, 125 was 1300 before starting carbo/caelyx now down to 97 and have 2 more to go I also reoccur soon after stopping chemo, so here hoping we both have a long long break...Take care Lorraine xx

Hi Lorraine, that's great news another 2 & hopefully you will smash the f**k out of it. There are quite a few that don't do well on Caelyx & then there are others like u that do very well on it. Good like on getting into remission my fingers are cross for you. Take care Cindyxx

It's a bit like not wanting to believe there's good news, which this really is, I think it's a self protection mode we go into just incase there's more rubbish news to come down the line. I don't think we ever truly believe we're OK because we've been really really not OK. I try to meet each day head on, each one that I'm well is a great day, any day I feel slightly off par I'm immediately convinced there is something sinister going on but then another day comes and we move forward Day by day. I think we just have to take the good news by the scruff of the neck and go with it as best we can. It's a new 'normal' and I hope you both are able to enjoy this good news, a CA125 of 6 is totally amazing, mine was the same last time so I take that and try to look forward. Take lots of care both of you ❤️Xx Jane

Good news you must be both happy. I think enjoy the good times and dont worry about it coming back is best if you can do that. Live every day as best ye can and plan little trips
