Harleeboo, I had "nodes" on my CAT scan after chemo. Doc told me it is very common to see this. He said they were most likely clumps of dead cells left over from the chemo. I later had a colostomy take down which allowed a "second look". He biopsied all SIX nodes and no malignancy was found, just clumps of dead cells. I can tell you not to worry, but those words don't help. Stay calm, find a favorite activity or thought to plug into your brain every single time you find yourself ruminating into anxiety. You'll be doing yourself a favor by staying present, here, now, take three deep breaths and go on about your day. Love to you dear.
Yes I was told lung nodules but otherwise NED. Apparently you can live with nodules for years- if you hadn't been having a scan they would never have known! My Onc told me that if CT people thought they were a problem they would order more testing but so far mine have been fine and it's been 18 months.

It is common as that happened to me as well last year after chemo... once my regular doctor reviewed it she was not concerned. They have not shown back up on any additional scans thus far. Our bodies find unique ways to get ride of toxins and nodes are often the way this happens and then they go away as our body can dispose of them.
