Well done! It probably won't be as bad as you think....I know some do have problems but I sailed through my TAH... it was just before Xmas 2015...I handed over the cooking to my daughters and niece and even had a cheeky glass of wine! xx

It's natural to be nervous, but as Lindy has said it may not be as bad as you think. And you soon start to feel much better, though you naturally have to take things easy for a while. Di

Hi Di

I am also a 'di' - I have seen the consultant surgeon today who was lovely. I'm still nervous but I don't have a choice to give me the best chance I have to have the op. Subject to blood results, it will be next week.

I'm glad you don't have long to wait. I had surgery when first diagnosed, & more surgery later to help get rid of recurrences, so I know how nerve-racking the waiting can be. But afterwards I knew it was worth it, to get rid of those 'aliens'. Di
