My scan appointment is through for Wednesday this is nice and quick. I am scared but once I have forced myself to the hospital I feel better.
It is five months today since I finished chemo. Does it have to be six to start carbo/plaxil again.

my onc. wasn't sure if it was 5or 6months but still pusued it My suggestion is that you push for it(!) Chris x

Don't want to go back on chemo so soon, did you go back on chemo quite soon and do you know how I can push for drainage as my stomach is huge.

Started carboplatin and caelyx between6/7 months after 1st line following a second opinion including a scan which showed some progression. Coped with it well relatively speaking but did follow instructions re mouthwashes and moisturiser to the letter. Hardly any hair loss either.
Your cancer nurse should help you with the ascites if that's what you think it is...do make a fuss(!) I went to a/e but that was before diagnosis. Had to have it drained twice before they could start treatment as I kept being sick.

Poole hospital. In the years I have lived here (1973) I have never heard a bad word said about it.
The views are a bonus of course. Looking out over the harbour.
I have heard from my cancer nurse who is going to ring on Monday about a drain for ascites.

Am back on weekly taxol ladyinred mines came back 3 mounths after 1st line of carbo taxol can't get carbo they say am now platnium residence xxx
