Hi Mortigger, I have read your pass post & I am wondering if you have been told you have a grenlosa tumour or are you still waiting for more results.

I don't have this kind of tumour but I am concerned that your care team are not informing you enough. You seem a bit lost I wish I could help you. Take care Cindyxx

Hi, I had this type of tumour. Initially, a very large mass showed up on a CT scan on my left ovary. I also had an ultrasound to try & get more info. It was not until the tumour was removed during surgery & biopsy done that it was confirmed as a granulosa tumour. It took more than a week post surgery to get confirmation. I don't think it is possible to determine what type of tumour is there from a CT or MRI until the biopsy is complete but that is only my experience.

It's true they can tell between cysts and masses they just can't tell what type of mass it is unless they biopsy it or remove it and that is true for all of us
