my mother is having constant fever nearly 102 degrees from last six days. Her second chemo was on 27th april. We consulted doctor. She is taking antibiotics but still fever not reducing. Blood and urine tests are normal except very low heamoglobin of 7.5.

Has anybody got this symptoms after chemo? Any suggestions please!

Have you rung your mums chemo unit and told the nurse what is going on? I would do do first thing this morning , say what's being going on and what action has been taken so far. Your mum may need to go in to A&E but they will advise.

The chemo unit may (should) give more targeted advice to what your mum is going through (chemo)!

Hoping this is sorted soon

Thankyou for your kind suggestions. She has been admitted to hospital today in consultation with her chemo team and she is being given IV antibiotics.
