Trying to edit profile!!

Not really OC related but I'm trying to change my profile picture from the blobby face to actually one of me!! When I tap on it nothing happens. How do I do it??!! (Doing this to take my mind off how sick I feel after 4th chemo!!)

Seem to remember Clare telling me that you had to do it in computer rather than phone or tablet... hope this helps otherwise I'm stumped 🤔

If you look at this post you'll find a description of how to edit your profile picture:

However, at the moment this isn't compatible with tablets/phones, you need to do it from a laptop or PC.

Hi Anna, It can be done via the app on an iPad, I somehow managed to edit mine that way. I'm not really IT savvy so maybe I hacked the app? 😂 I've explained it below.❤xx Jane

Thanks for telling me - that's good to know! I know HealthUnlocked were looking to make it easier to do on tablets/phones so the app must have solved that problem.

Hi Becky, can't help I'm afraid but I thought you meant your pic showed YOU with a blobby face and thought 'on surely she's doing herself an injustice, as we all have a tendency to do'. Lets face it nobody says oh look at my pic, I'm so beautiful!. I then realised what you meant by blobby face........ I know I shouldn't laugh but I thought my stupidity might give you a smile lol. I couldn't do at first it then I went into the app on my iPad, (before going into the app I saved a photo I liked) I then clicked on my profile and on edit profile, clicked on the part where the photo goes and saved and was able to post my picture.. hope this makes some sort of sense 😜. I only managed to do it after 2 months of wondering why I couldn't ( or more thinking I was IT illiterate) on the laptop computer ( Anna - IT alovely support lady showed me the route...) . But first of all son had to reconnect me to the internet world on this as password this/ password that locked me out! ANYHOW I did realise I needed to be in front of a dark background and crop the photo first to make it drop in with some clarity... bingo I did it, but what a faff. Hope to 'see' you soon...
