Well after 5 months I am starting a phased return to work this morning. Two mornings this week - just seeing how it goes.

Excited and scared 😬. A more positive side of my journey πŸ‘πŸ‘.

Thank you Fay x

Hi Lynne. You may feel a bit disoriented at first but that will get better. Take it slowly. First step to getting some sort of normality back. Enjoy 🌻🌻🌻

Thank you, I am sure it will be strange and they are a lovely bunch of people. I have really missed them.

Well done - as you way, it's the next positive step on your journey. You'll no doubt get into the swing of things quickly and it might even feel like you've never been away! x

Great news. Hope it goes well and you can regulate how much you take back on!

You probably will do too much and you really mustn't!

Just being at work for two mornings will mean that you're doing 200% more than you did before! But it's great that you have such a good team and workmates.

Feet up when you come home xx

All the best

Hi, thank you. I haven't got round to the changes bit yet..... plowing through the 385 emails 😩

Delete them all. They are old and if important will be resent.

My approach exactly - I had over 1,000 (and a lot of 'your mailbox is almost full' type emails, making the situation even worse πŸ˜†)

I am just going through phases return after 10 months I was dreading it to be honest .... but I have to say I'm enjoying it .... it is tiring but everyone has been so nice .... I'm not sure I will stay as the place has issues and I don't want drama or stress after oc ... makes life precious I want to enjoy every part of it ... but going back to work for me was a good experience better than expected and helped to establish a routine 😊

Aw Lynne,

The normality makes it all worth it !! You will start to feel so much more like your old self!

I'm doing 3 days per week and I love it 😍.. in fact much more enjoyable than before!

Best of everything!

Good job Lynne. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

A major step back to normal I suspect. Take it easy at first and let us know how it's going. Hope to follow in your footsteps when I'm out of treatment. πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Best to you!!

Well done for getting back to work! I had 4 months off then went back on a phased return to full time but being on Avastin was tiring so am now only doing 3 days a week. Make sure you don't overdo it but it's great to feel almost normal again! Good luck
