Hello ladies,

I have read posts in the past advocating creams or shaving to get rid of post=chemo face hair, but do not personally want to do either of these. My skin does not react well to creams and I do not want stubble on my cheeks!

What I want to know, is has anyone just left it to do its own thing, and did it go eventually?

Many thanks Jenny

Yes, mine went by itself after a while - I can't remember how long, sorry. It was weird, but I suspect other people really aren't noticing it as much as you are!

I looked like mr squeers too, & had it waxed for £9 when it hit about 2 inches!!!! Blonde & wispy but very obvious!!! Haha!

Had it waxed again 4 months later & it has never reappeared since. That was 5 months ago

I used facial wax strips. It can cause a bit of redness but I do it before bed and by the morning all fine!

I used facial wax strips too. A bit of redness the next few days (I have super sensitive skin) but I timed my efforts well to stay home. Once was enough, and never returned.

In my experience, the furry facial stuff which comes after chemo does fall out eventually xxx

Thanks for all the facial hair replies. Wax strips have caused under skin bleeding before so I think I will wait and observe the growth. If it gets too dense I,ll rum over it with the strimmer!

DO NOT SHAVE YOUR FACIAL HAIR!!!! It will grow back faster, thicker and coarser. I got impatient and shaved a very small 1/2" section of my chin and it's growing like crazy now, three times faster, more coarse and black!!!! The rest of the new fuzz just eventually disappeared. So, the only problem area is where I SHAVED IT!! Those hairs grow like wires!

Thanks for the warning. I hear what you are saying!!!!

Sorry you find yourself with this problem. Do you think regular use of a cream might weaken the growth?

jenny, I'm definitely going to find a product to use on that spot I shaved. It also FEELS creepy to the touch.

I used a No No when my fave got so furry! It was very gentle, didn't aggravate my skin and I did it once and never had to use it again on my face. I was afraid it would make any future growth course but there was no future growth.

No creams or gels either. I hope this helps you.

thanks Tracy, my daughter actually suggested a no no might work. I might give it a go!
