Well I am sure there are some other stage 2 ladies who will be in touch but it's kind of good news (weirdly-given that we are talking about OC) for your daughter because many of us were not diagnosed so early...so good job on the part of her Doctors and being at an earlier stage at diagnosis is an advantage for her.

Wish her all the best and if she feels like a good rant or a cry or just to talk to others who have been there...that's what this group is for x

Hi there, if you look on the right hand side to related post you should be able to find others with the same stage. I wish her all the best take care Cindyxx

I can understand this is a scary time and you want to be able to connect with others at the same stage and hear all their positive stories however the good thing is that ladies at ALL stages can be given ( and are given) No Evidence of Disease status after treatment.

Please know that we are all here for your daughter and you - any question, any concern etc. Plus as Cindy has said you can put a search into the search box at the top for your specific query too.

Take care

Clare xx

Hi,

I was diagnosed stage 2c in 2013, I was NED after surgery and then had 18 weekly chemo treatments as part of the Icon 8 trial. I have now gone to 6 monthly check ups, I've had a few issues post chemo but nothing that stops me getting on with life:) I wish your daughter well with her treatment, it is quite a rare stage, but there have been many ladies on here who have helped with their knowledge and wise words.

Take Care

I'm sure some Stage 2 folks will be in touch soon. I'm guessing your daughter may be relatively young if she's Stage 2, if so, the Guide for Younger Women, pinned post (opposite) may well be of interest.

It is good news that she has been diagnosed relatively early. Still very scary though!

Good luck to you both!

Hi I was diagnosed Stage 2b in 2014. I was NED after surgery then had chemo. Remained in so called remission and it's coming up to 3 years since my diagnosis. Your daughters in good hands and she is very lucky to have you as such a caring mum x

I wish your daughter all the best, what I would say it that stage doesnt really matter what does matter is how we respond to the treatment and I am sure your daughter will do well, wishing you both the best

What age is your daughter? The Younger Women's Guide is really helpful. It was my bible when I was first diagnosed. I found the other literature I was given too scary!

I was stage 2b diagnosed 2012. It's not an easy road but your support will make all the difference, has she been tested for Brca? It is more common in those of us diagnosed young and can make a difference to some treatments xxx

Hi, I was diagnosed in 2009 2C, and following debulking surgery and six rounds of chemo I am fortunate in so far as I have had no re-currence or issues since. I hope your daughter finds some comfort and hope from reading the replies and she will certainly find lots of support from women on this site who have been through similar diagnosis and treatment.

Sending best wishes to you and your daughter.

Hi there I was diagnosed with stage 2 OC 4 years ago this month. Still doing well! I was young for OC- diagnosed at 31.

Stage 2 is pretty rare, but there are a few of us on this forum.

Hi, I was diagnosed a year ago with stage 2 so could try and help but it seems lots of ladies have also written great advice above. The protocols are pretty up there these days so fingers crossed she has excellent prospects and the ladies in this group are wonderful and supportive x

Doing quite well considering, third session of chemo this Friday, few niggles but on the whole not so bad as was expecting.

No one really said anything yet ? Is it too early to comment or do they wait until 6 sessions completed?

Hope you are doing ok 👍🏼👍🏼😘
