As my spleen was removed during my op in December does this mean that I will be told I am stage 4? I am so nervous about my appointment on Wednesday that I have the shakes.

Hi - I had my spleen removed as well as most other things in my abdomen! I'm still classed as stage 3c. Good luck for your appointment xx

When I was diagnosed it was explained that if everything was below the diaphragm then it was stage 3 or below depending on the spread. To be stage 4 it has to be above the diaphragm so I would assume you are 3 or below. Hope this helps and good luck with your appointment on Wednesday. Sending big encouraging virtual hugs through the internet. ❤xx Jane

Thank you so much.

Hi Neona, all the very best for your appointment try not to worry. Really it doesnt matter what stage you are at because it ultimately depends on how you feel and how you cope with treatment, Check ups are scary and we wish we were elsewhere rather than waiting in a waiting room but I am sending you a virtual hug to help you feel better. Deep breaths and think of nice things that have happened you today or in the past week.
