125c goes up with caelyx help!!

Hi,

Ladies my last 125 came down from 250 to 98 (great)

but to-days was 105, has any one had this happen to them,

I have 2 left of 6, did your marker go back down to a normal number with only 2 left,

Not feeling the best at the moment,

I had the same, my ca went sky high and I have been put on Gemzar and Carb and it`s working, good luck xxx

Not had Caelyx but I have read ladies on here say their ca125 rise and fall. Hope the chemo is treating you well, xx

Fingers crossed for you. Try not to worry too much. I know that's easier said than done. On my last ct scan I had a 9mm nodule, hoping on my next one the chemo has blitzed the bugger. My ca125 is 8 show just goes to show u. The scan is more important indicator. Xx

Hi Lorraine - I had caelyx as 2nd line last year and my 125 rose after the first two cycles! My oncologist said it was a fairly normal response as caelyx works very slowly. At the start my 125 was in the 600s - after treatment it had dropped to 53 - not in the normal range but heyho.

My CT post treatment showed me to be in radiological remission ( as they phrased it ) so hope this helps!

Thank you yes it does help , when it went down then up it was scary

It always help when lovely ladies like your self reply, it gives hope .
