Good afternoon to everyone from the Midlands where the sun keeps shining! !

So many ladies on here waiting for appointments and those dreaded scan and ca 125 results; I'm halfway through 3rd line treatment and feeling knocked about and ravaged but just wanted to say to all that every day is a new day and God willing we will hike our way up to the top of that mountain - when we get there the view will be amazing! !!!

Love and strength to each and every one of us πŸŒˆπŸŒžπŸŒ„πŸŒ„ xxx

You lucky lady, very small amounts of sun here in Ireland at the moment. You are half way there so that is good just three more to go. I can understand being tired and knocked about and sore but yes every day is a day nearer your target and you will get to the top of the mountain. Wishing you well and wishing you less aches and pains etc, hugs

Hey Maz and Floz. My mum is in Birmingham too. Solihull region. And Suzuki, I'm heading to Ireland on Friday for a week. Hubby and kids are already there and so I'm getting a coach from Carlisle to Cairn Ryan then a ferry to Belfast then I have to find my way to Donegal!! Looking forward to the adventure but hoping for a bit of sunshine!!! Jane X

Hello Floz. Well alarm went off at 5.30am. Didn't sleep much. Got taxi to Carlisle bus station at 7.05am. National Express was due to leave at 7.40am but was around 25 minutes late due to problem on M6!! Made ferry OK at Cairnryan. Arrived at Belfast and got a bus to Belfast bus station. Bus to Derry. Had a meal in Derry at a lovely pub called Blackbird. Bus to Donegal should have left at 6.30pm but was running late so left at 7.05pm!! Just on way to Donegal now. Should get there at around 8.30pm, via Sligo, so hubby will have to drive in and collect me. Tired!! Looking forward to break though. Yes, Ireland is a great place. I stopped at Dublin for one night once, back in 2000. I took part in Five Peaks Challenge and we did highest mountain in Northern Ireland (Slieve Donard) and highest one in Southern Ireland (Carrantouhill). (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon before that!). Saw Killarney briefly!! Was raising money for SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). Now my fundraising is based around Cancer Research. Hope you have a lovely time in Mullingar. Jane x
