I managed to get my 5th chemo session at last today , my last one was 29th Dec! Due to numerous uti infections. 2 kidney infections and low bloods! One more to go after this, fingers crossed no more infections it's been a tough one this tine for me but never mind sending everyone best wishes with their treatment.

Thanks Suzuki ,it seems so near but so far at the moment!

You will be bound to be tired etc after treatment and then you will perk up again. Once the last one is over you feel such a relief that the side effects wont hit you so bad. Well that is how it was for me. Mind yourself

Good that you are back on track. My wife has had issues not related to the debulking and hipec, but due to the port implant. Post first chemo she had an obstruction in the small intestine due to inflammation. Post the second chemo she had high temperature supposedly caused by very low wbc which went down to 300, but later was diagnosed as a result of bacterial infection in the port. So, tomorrow off we go to get the IV port removed and so Chemo # 3 will be postponed by a week. She also has a port in the abdomen for peritoneal chemo, which apparently is fine. Cheers ladies.
