Over half way xx
Well that is one way of describing the Chemo Unit, a new one for me but one I will remember. All we need is a Prince to come and kiss us better haha. Any how two thirds done so that is good and I hope the last two will be easier. Looking forward to your next post
HI D ,saw you today in castlebar , you lookin great , your doin mighty ,keep it up.The Poison * crew * are so nice. xx Eileen
Thanks Eileen! Isnt it a small world! Were you the Eileen I was talking to I think there were 2 Eileens there today? The "crew" are truly amazing and I find infusion day quiet relaxing to be honest! There was a good bit of banter today which is great! Plenty of commentary about our "politicians" in the lead up to election!!!
Take Care Eileen!

What a great way to describe the chemo unit! Wanted to reply to you as I too had my 4th chemo yesterday and can say I am two thirds of the way through. Hope your next one goes well. All the best, Barbara
Thanks Barbara! You too! Hope your next 2 go ok! I am so happy to be reaching the end it's a good way of getting through them I find by counting them down!!
All the best and I hope the next few days aren't too bad! I find the following Monday and Tuesday are the bad days but I know that now so can be prepared for them which helps!!
Onwards and Upwards!

Hi D, thanks for replying. I find from Friday or Saturday through to Wednesday or Thursday, I am wiped out by fatigue and have no energy, but maybe we are on different drugs. Also I suspect I am considerably older than you which could make a difference! Meant to tell you last time I really like the headwear. I have similar ones but only in single colours.
Anyway do hope rest of your treatment goes well.
All the best,
Barbara
Well I have to say you're looking good. Upwards and upwards indeed! Best wishes, nearly finished! xx
I will be having my 4th in 2 weeks time, after recovery from my radical surgery 2 weeks ago.
I responded really well to my first 3 chemo's with CA125 down to 17 pre-op!
I have looked on chemo in an entirely different way, and instead of seeing it as poison, I see it as my 'friend' not foe, and elixir not poison. Just an alternative way of dealing with it, which worked for me. I do get the fatigue, but no other effects after.
We are all different in how we cope, but stand together on our roads to recovery.
I wish you good health and healing as you go through treatment.

Hey Gilly!
I guess the title is a bit misleading and tongue in cheek really as I too am looking at Chemo as a friend at the minute! I am lucky too as apart from fatigue and some strong management on my part as I already had a dodgy digestive system I am doing well with side effects! Like you the fatigue but can cope with that! I am working half of the time too which is helping psychologically and we had some fantastic news last night my youngest sister had a gorgeous little boy so today is a very good day!!!!
All the best to you and all the other princesses that have regular visits to the poison palace!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
