Even though we all carry sadness everyday , for the state of the world , and for our own losses ,and personal fears ....
I am amazed and in awe of those of you travelling long distances , spending time with big , extended families ...and equally , for those doing things quietly and reflectively .
I would like to send everyone , wherever you are , all my very best wishes and hopes for 2016.
To everyone at Ovacome ,many thanks ....
And to all the health providers and NHS staff , trying their best at all times...
One day at a time ! May you all continue to be impressive !

Happy New and Healthy year to you and all our very very brave band of sisters
Jackie O xx
Hi Angela just want to wish you a Happy Xmas, and New Year, we had my son and grandson come to stay for a few days last night with his future Bride. Yes all we can do is take a day at a time, forget about yesterday and try and not worry about tomorrow. I wish everyone well for 2016
Well said! It's not easy at times just going through the motions of Christmas. The pressure to feel happy feels a bit much sometimes . I've got to enjoy somethings this Christmas but also had to watch others burn out around me looking after my young kids and doing chores..and the hardest of all not being able to plan . Had friend over earlier but felt too stressed to enjoy probably , thanks for the encouragement Angela. Tomor will be brighter
Fatigue ,chemo brain , the relentlessness gets to us all ....it will pass and you will make plans again .More importantly you will start enjoying things ,little by
Little . When things are very bad ,my bedroom is known as HQ ! Phone , mobile , notebook ,very untidy mounds of books and magazines . Family and friends in and out ,or ,big sign , " Asleep" .
I wish you what we wish ourselves , better health , peace and goodwill to all people .
