Had three monthly review last week ca was fine no change so oncologist booked me for ct scan just to be 100 per cent said see me in three month hospital just phoned sending me an appointment to see oncologist to discuss ct scan results discussed at mdt meeting

Hi, I'm sorry you are facing this. Take someone with you to the appointment for support. Having been a medical secretary for a consultant surgeon who dealt with bone and soft tissue tumours, I suspect there might be a recurrence. Don't panic though. I was in the same position in August last year but I am still on wait and watch as the nodules were small. If something has shown up on the scan they have to tell you. Please don't panic about what I have said, hopefully, like mine, it is small. All the best, Ann xo

Thanks Ann bit less panic stricken now just be glad when get appointment as however hard we try we still dwell on it and speculate just that if it is recurrence was hoping for a longer break in treatment
