Have had repeat bloods done, now waiting for U/S and meeting with the consultant. Hoping to finally get some answers. Have to admit, I'm starting to have a few wobbles now the appointment is finally here.
Anyone have any tips for questions I should ask?
Thanks in advance. X

Hi, I can't really suggest what questions to ask but when you have got some, write them down. My brain went completely to mush as soon as I walked into the Consultants office so a list of questions helps. Also take someone with you as its difficult to absorb everything you're being told. My hubby came with me and seemed to take so much more in than I did. Best of luck with everything and let us know how you get on, Kerry x
Wishing you the best with your appoint, yes I agree it is best to go with someone who will take in the conversation better. I am hopeless when it comes to consultations. I dont ask questions, I go dumb. Last time in the professor was laughing at me, all I replied was" really. ". The news was good enough and I was of course expecting the worst, you just cant change me at this stage
Thanks so much for your replies. I have been to see them before armed with loads of questions, but, they've all gone out my head. Previously I'd chosen to go alone for all but two meetings, I prefer to absorb the info before I share, so once I had chosen to share I had a good friend who came along and sat outside until I heard what the consultant had to say first. Might sound odd, but, it's the way I cope with things. I think I'll probably go alone this time again and hope for the best. I swore I wouldn't let my guard down "just in case" , but, over the weekend I realised I had, now the fear has struck again.
