I have not been on the forum for a while I have been spending time with my Mum who sadly died suddenly last Thurs in her own home . She was easy to love, kind, generous, compassionate, with a keen sense of fun. . She adored her family but also give to the community. I have the most loving supportive husband, but my Mum was my rock and constant and I so loved her . I am and will miss her dreadfully. I have posted a picture of myself with Mum from about 15 months ago after my 1st course of chemo. Love Chris

So sorry to hear this Chris. That's a beautiful photo.
I lost my Mum last new year and feel a new inner strength that my mum is with me seeing me through. I miss her physical presence as we were so close but do find comfort that all her love and guidance is still so much a part of me. I hope you find the same and this will help you through the passing of your lovely Mum.

Chris, I’m so sorry for your sad loss, there’s nobody who can ever replace your mum but you have your lovely husband to support you through this awful time, you have shared such a lovely photo of the two of you. In time you will be able to look back on the lovely happy times you shared. She is always with you you are a part of her and she is a part of you, I miss my mum but I keep her love within and her particularly wicked sense of humour going daily and pass that on to my boys and their children so she lives on through us all.
Big comforting hugs and love lovely lady ❤️Xx Jane

So sorry for your loss Chris. Lovely picture. I felt the same way about my mum and when she passed away I was in total despair. There isn't a day goes by when I don't think of her and wish I could have 5 more mins but I can't so I just go on because I know she wouldn't have wanted me to be sad. You have memories and they will comfort you. Sending you a hug. Take care. Kathy xx

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my own Mom 2 weeks ago, so I know the pain that comes with losing a mother. Sending prayers your way. Kim xx
That's such sad news Chris! Losing your mother is one of life's major upheavals! You have been blessed with enjoying her love for many years, but still we mourn and miss our mother's presence because it's such a comforting feeling to have your mother close by. I'm very sorry for your loss. May her love remain a constant reminder that though you are now apart, she will be with you in spirit forever.

I am really sorry you lost your rock and best friend, it has to be very hard for you. I lost my own mother just after my first regime of chemo and it was difficult
Hi Chris
I’m so sorry to read about lovely mother . My deepest sympathy goes out to you. My own dear mother died three years ago and I still miss her and her loving wisdom. It’s such a beautiful photo of two very strong women . I pray that the pain of your grief will ease and that your lovely memories of her will sustain you into the future. Take care .

Thank you all for taking time to respond to my post I have so appreciated all your empathetic responses. What a wonderful group of women you are.Love Chris
Very sorry to hear about your loss, we are never ready to lose our mums! Hope you can find comfort in the many happy memories of your times together like in the photo - lovely! I lost my mum 2 years ago and although she was very frail and not really herself she was still a source of strength and comfort to me and I still miss her, but I do hear her voice quite often in my head! The one consolation is i’m glad she doesn’t have to worry about my health any more as she was devastated by my diagnosis st 48.
Take good care and allow yourself all the time you need to grieve but do nice things too.
Love & hugs
Madeline xx
I'm so very sorry to read this, I was devastated when I lost my Mum, we had a feisty relationship, I loved her deeply and am sure I could have been a better daughter, she loved me very much and I miss her wisdom and understanding.
Sending you my love at what I am sure is a difficult time

Lovely photo, Mums are special, lost mine 8 years ago and there isn’t a day goes by I don’t think of her.
I was an only child and it is a great loss, but I fill it with my grandsons.
