Keeping fingers crossed but...

3 months in the clear and now ca125 has risen, have pt scan this afternoon and although oncologist keeps saying don't worry it could be lots of things, it's hard not to think the worse. Still I know the reality and what to expect but feel a bit like Groundhog Day. I was diagnosed last year just before my youngest got married, my eldest is marrying this June and I was do hoping not to have this hanging over our heads again. Wish me luck.

I'm wishing you luck Jill and sending loads of love. Don't be too down about a rising CA125 count. It can go up and down for various reasons, and even if it's connected to the tumours it doesn't mean having to start treatment straight away.

I'm just about to finish my second line of chemotherapy. I had a whole year after the CA125 started to rise before my oncologist thought I needed more treatment. A year of wonderful events and memories that have kept me going through the last 18 weeks of treatment. I'm sure you'll be able to enjoy the June wedding this year come what may. I shall be mother-of-the-bride on 20 June too and enjoying helping with all the preparations and planning despite having treatment.

Hopefully this offers a bit of reassurance so it's not so much like Groundhog Day for you. That sounds horrible.
