Hi Ladies, following on a few enquiries, I have decided to make a post rather than messaging individually. The Irish Society of Gynae Oncologists are holding their 5th meeting at Queens University Belfast on Friday 9th November. Meeting starts at 9 but the Public Patient Involvement group have their meeting at 12. Lunch will be provided and possibly some expenses. Sharon O Toole and Yvonne O Meara are the PPI facilitators. The PPI meeting is open to those with Ovarian Cancer, their family, carers and any support groups. This our fifth meeting and it will give you an insight into how we have progressed so far. If any one of you want further details, please pm me your email addresses and I will email fuller details on. The meeting is open to interested parties from North and South and they are hoping for a good attendance of PPI members, new members assured of a warm welcome. To register, please email Isgoppi @gmail.com or contact Sharon O Toole. There are plenty of hotels nearby the venue should anyone decide to stay overnight.

Thanks for sharing that information, which I will pass on to some of the ladies in my Move On group 🎃
Thank you, the more the merrier. I am trying to motivate myself and worked out a plan to get there and back. I shall complete the finer details tonight or tomorrow
Hey Joan! Hope all is well with you! Unfortunately I am working that day and only have a few leave days left at this stage so can't take the day off! Hope it all goes well!

Hi D hope you are good. I have registered and will book accommodation later. I had radiotherapy on my hip in June and it can get sore but I have to have a life too. Saw a video of a lady driving a car earlier on facebook and then getting out and taking a cute fold up scooter from the boot of the car. Glad to say so far, I haven't reached that point. I feel the programme will be of benefit to me and I will have a little look around Belfast too. Hope to see you in the not to distant future
