Now as I start to reply, I wonder whether you're meaning in relation to weight loss or in relation to cancer....?
There's been a good discussion going on already about diet and supplements and so on, though who knows how much difference our best efforts will make for any of us...
In relation to weight loss, I'm pleased with the results I'm having from doing the 5:2 diet. I started about a year ago, have had a lot of time off when on holiday etc but have still lost about 10 kilos.
This time last year I could get into none of my summer clothes. This year I can get into all of them, including some which had been off limits for a few years.
I feel very well on it and don't find it hard work now I have a collection of tried and tested recipes to do...
There have been several discussions about diets already and you could get into them either by looking at my earlier posts or by searching on "diet" or "weight loss" or similar.
Good luck!
As Mac27 said, the 5:2 diet is good for loosing weight. If the diet is for keeping you on a healthy path after O.C then ,personally a well balanced diet with plenty of the immune building foods should be taken.x
Hi. Like AnnieH I also believe in a balanced diet and a little of everything included. Don't generally eat a lot of sweet things, but when I do I just love very dark chocolate and don't feel guilty about eating it.
As regards weight - I try to exercise when energy allows and as I was never a skinny size, I accept that clothes are made in different sizes to suit all of us different shaped women.
Love and best wishes,
Daisies
