I was concerned about the Reclast, but several of my doctors felt that this is what I needed.

Me, too. Probably to start in April. It seems the best option for my situation. Did you take medicinecto avoid flu-like symptoms from the reclast? It was recommended as well, for the first IV session. Also, because my risk is low, the doctor recommended every 18 months, instead of 12. Please share your experience & I will, too.

Thanks!

Hi, I just completed my 3rd dose of Recast IV Infusion. The side effects after the first infusion were the most severe - needed to stay in bed for 24 hours; body aches. Little to no side effects after doses 2 and 3, though!

Unfortunately, my recent DEXA scan showed minimal improvement, so I am back to square one. Hope that info is helpful.

You may not want to read the side effects , they scare the shit out of you. Just don't take Prolia. Getting off that has horrible side effects

I have my first rec last April 5 2024, Had flu like symptoms for 3 days. Yes I did hydrate and took tylenol. Newest issue is my left knee doesn't want to work. Three or more years ago I broke my patella but everything healed. Been walking doing the gym weight machines and swimming no issues. Now I can't do any of that its like the joint pain is debilitating and it won't lift the lower leg at all.

I called my provider said to ice and alternate Tylenol and motrin. I will be coming them back since no improvements then I will be calling the company who manufacturers it and leave my severe adverse issue and see what they tell me. Don't think I will be injecting anything else. It seems to always impact my knee
