I came across a YouTube channel titled Optimal Bone Health that I found to be very helpful. I'm putting the link below. You can subscribe to the channel for free or just put "Optimal Bone Health" or "Doug Lucas" in the search box on YouTube to see individual videos. The channel is run by Dr. Doug Lucas, a former orthopedic surgeon who now has his own clinic treating people with osteoporosis and osteopenia. He has mild osteopenia himself. He posts videos on diet, exercise, supplements, drugs and anything relevant to bone health. He takes a holistic approach and shares findings from research studies to support his recommendations. He recommends drugs only as a last resort. He also welcomes comments on the videos he posts and responds to the comments. He also takes suggestions on topics to make videos on in the future. He has a lot of wisdom! His videos have radically changed how I am responding to my own osteoporosis. Feel free to check out the link below. I hope you find it helpful.

Thanks, simpleguy. I've seen a number of his videos and have the same positive response to the content. Dr Lucas relies on the balance of the science to reach his conclusions and recommendations. I use his videos as a check on my osteoporosis doc who is not as up to date. Very helpful and I would guess that his programs can really help people like us (if you can afford it).
I've recently heard Melatonin is safer using as a topical, ingesting can kead to other issues. I thank you for suggesting this website. I'm gonna check it out. I'm going to find out more information on topical use. And I'll share the information that I find.
