Thinking of using Tymlos or Evenity. Which has least side effects?

Could you give some detail as to why/who said you should consider either of these drugs please as that would be helpful for people to answer your query.Not being on any bone medication myself, and not medically trained, I would just mention that Evenity is quite new and is only to be taken for 12 months after which another medication, most likely a bisphosphonate, would probably be needed. If that happens it would be useful for you to know which bisphosphonate you can tolerate/are happy to use.

Hi 78247. Are you seeing an osteoporosis specialist (usually an endocrinologist or rheumatologist)? These are both powerful medicines, and you need someone who is familiar with the treatment protocols. They are to be used by patients at high risk of fracture, and only for a year (Evenity) or two (Tymlos), and both need to be replaced by another medicine after that.
