I suggest reading Dr Louise Kaufman's book Acid Reflux Diet. She's a renowned expert. You may find it helpful.

hi

I have LPR and have had it for years but it wasn’t problematic for years until this January when symptoms were pretty unbearable. Following treatment of meds and diet alterations it took at least six months before I felt there was significant improvement. I am now trying to reduce meds and cope with a changed life style. It is wise to see your dr regularly through the process mine prescribed a six weeks yoga zoom session for anxiety which I found particularly helpful although at the time I was sceptical. Good luck with your journey😀

It's really a matter of what you can tolerate, and what triggers problems. Things like tomatoes, citrus fruit are on a lot of suggested lists. It is worth looking things up on reputable internet sites, particular times of eating etc.You don't mention any medications like Gaviscon or Peptac, or on prescription. It can be a matter of trial and error.
