i was stupid, four weeks ago I ate a slice of cake with gluten. that night the pain kicked in. I knew I was in trouble and it would last three days.

i was in severe pain for four weeks,my stomach felt hard,bad cramps,it was like being in the last stages of labour

after three weeks I called the surgery and spoke to a practice nurse she did poo pee and blood tests.

results came back yesterday, all clear

any suggestions or help please,

When you say the pain kicked in do you also mean acid reflux as well?

Yes I have acid reflux, now found out I had inflamed intestines. Thank you for your interest and help

I’m really just learning about gluten myself contributing to acid reflux, but its definitely worth cutting out not just gluten but all grains for a while too. All grains even ones saying gluten free have a type of gluten I believe. Meanwhile try and heal your gut with calming things like l glutamine or aloe. Best of luck, it’s miserable I know.
