I've had a HH for years and underwent a 3rd endoscopy last year for chest pain but they only found the hernia ( 3cm) For 2 weeks I've had horrible sharp pain just below the sternum and across the epigastric area. Also an increase in the usual cough and feeling of lump in throat. I'm on lanzoprazole and gaviscon but wondering if anyone has further advice or comments. It's getting quite debilitating but as I had endoscopy fairly recently I'm not sure about trying to get a gp appointment.
Kind regards

I wish they can find root cause for all the diseases we have I my self been suffering for the past 14 years and did just about ever procedure you can think of you have to do searches and help yourself docs just want or give meds and go but they don’t care I take 40 mg omeprazole one in morning and one in evening but I switched to Reglan and Zafron for nausea and vomiting it seems to control my Avis reflux also learned from my ENT doc that we do get another source of acid from our sinuses called post nasal dripping to your doctor it’s not always coming from stomach 20 mg and it’s working better for me but I also look for alternative medicine
