Does anyone have left arm pain accompanying gastro pain in the morning?
I’ve had bad upper stomach / abdominal pain in the mornings for last 5 years - still no dx - but more recently accompanied by tingling ache in upper stomach radiating down shoulder and left arm which is concerning.
Lots of gurgling as per normal and fades eventually. Has anyone else out there experienced this? Thanks

good morning, i suffer with GORD , FND and COPD and have done so since 2018 i have constant pain/discomfort in my abdomen still under investigation. i think because there is so much crossover in symptoms the hospitals cannot give an answer yet and also suffer intermittent pins and needles down my left arm and leg . the GP is still trying to work out what is happening. my only respite from the pain is to sleep which on occasion has been upto 30hrs. hopefully the medics will work it out . sorry not that helpful. good luck
And having been round the houses - as I’m sure you have - and after having been given dx ranging from Chronic Pancreatitis to Behcets diseases (neither of which were found to be sound - after I forked out have 2nd/3rd/4th opinions privately) I’ve been left in a diagnostic limbo. I also got a COPD dx and have had GERD/NERD.
I hope you’re ab pain gets better. Mine was constant a few years back - ended up in hospital on morphine - but has gone back to mainly in the mornings now which is currently more manageable at least.
hi i have just found out i am getting a reffral to the Maudsley for PPS persistent physical symptoms as there are so many symptoms that cannot be explained maybe thats something you can look into , i know they do it at various hospitals but you do need a GP referral . good luck
Just to add... I just looked up FND, which is interesting, because one of my last dx was parked at functional nerve pain or functional dyspepsia. Can’t remember which. I’d begun to take dx’s with a pinch of salt by then.
hi, it took me 18 months before they told me i suffer with FND, but i did go to a seminar on it at Kings and was amazed at the differences in the other patients . there are so many symptoms i have a few walking, talking, thinking and this can lead to confusion with the doctors as there is a lot of crossovers so it gets hard you have to remember what symptoms go with which doctor(illness) that is something else you could look into your GP will need to do some work lol you need neurology and PPS 👍
I’m going to reply to myself here and add that looking back on my posts I also had left arm pain about 5 years ago when my abdominal pain started. I should have added memory problems as well. 😆
