Difficulties in speaking

Hi all,

I have moved to London recently from another country,

Pregabaline with clomipramine don't let me speak good English. I always forget easy words and also have a lot of confusion in my mind whenever I try to speak. Furthermore I have a big of energy, so after some hours in work I get drowsy and tired, not having enough energy to put any effort,

I would like to suggest me a site about speaking skills

Regards

Georgr

Perhaps ask your local council office if there are English classes locally you could go to. I helped out at English classes many years ago, and the classes helped with writing, reading and speaking.

I took clomipramine for many years and I found it very good, but as you say, it did make me feel very drowsy and tired.

Do ask your local council about classes in English. Or go on the internet and google 'free English classes near me'. Good luck!

Thank you for your response,

I have been enrolled to ESOL Level 2 course in a North London's College,

The problem isn't my English Skills but the ability to speak, I am almost sure that this is due to the pregabaline with clomipramine side effects of confusing and difficulties in speech.

I think i need to watch the movie The King's Speech for more info and endorsement

Regards

I have no experience with pregabalin, but I do know that clomipramine can make you drowsy. But I never had any problems with confusion or difficulties in speaking. Perhaps have a word with your doctor about your medication.

Always remember that speaking a language is more difficult than reading it or listening to it. I'm sure that your spoken English is much better than you think it is!
