Hi! You will have good days and bad days. Yes this world is ugly but you have to find beauty in it in order to survive. Maybe finding a therapist will help you.

My story is the same. My OCD started in very early years and peaked when I was in my twenties. I had to leave my job and lost touch with all of my close friends. However, that was two years ago and seeking treatment for OCD and being open with the people around me, who are sympathetic, has helped me a great deal. I am currently waiting specific treatment for OCD and attend a support group now. I would definitely recommend joining a support group for people with OCD. It is good to hear from others who share the same experience.

They don't have any support groups where I live for OCD and there are several that is an hour away, well you have to have money or good insurance that will pay for it, so I don't get the help that I need just medication switches all of the time. They don't even have good therapists for OCD, here where I live, so that is why I connect with this group and other online groups as well.
