Nobody so far has come up with a cure for OCD, but medication and CBT can make a huge difference. It's possible enjoy life with OCD, even if it gets to you badly now and again.

Hi all! I just wanted to give a shout out to Sallyskins for all the wonderful reply’s, advice and always seeming to be there for everyone. I myself have always found comfort in all the posts and replies that you have given to everyone. I feel like you are our resident advisor on this forum and just wanted to thank you for all your helpful advice and think I can safely say I am not the only one who feels this way.

That is really good of you to say so! I do occasionally think other people on the forum might think, 'Oh no, not her again!' but I don't like for other people's posts to go unanswered if I can help at all.

I can't call myself an expert, except as someone who has plenty of experience in what having OCD is like, and if I can share anything I've picked up along the way, I'm happy to.
