hello this is new to me, i think i suffer ocd thoughts come into my mind when i lest expect it i could be working in the garden, doing housework or just falling asleep thoughts that i think may have happened in the past, memories that i don't want, then i convince my self they are true, even if they are or not its the past, it makes me depressed as they will not go away for a few days, memories regarding my husband maybe had an affair..... I have asked him lots of times but he denies it am not convinced and feel i will never ne rid of these thoughts, is this ocd.

It does sound very much like OCD. It plants tiny doubts in your mind, that have no basis in reality, then demands you make sure they are or aren't real. Part of the solution is to learn not to pursue the certainty that OCD demands. So stop interrogating your husband! Meanwhile, do go to a doctor and talk it over, perhaps give medication a go, and if necessary get a referral to a CBT therapist. Meanwhile, there are some excellent self help books you can read.
