I’m not sure if this sounds weird but I was doing some research, and it says that social media can trigger ocd. I actually agree with this because sites like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. have images that some of us wouldn’t really like seeing depending on your ocd theme/ fear. I have Instagram and it’s triggered me a lot with a lot of the things I see, and a lot of times it makes me want to delete my account, but I see that as being a compulsion, so maybe not the best idea. Any thoughts on this?

Lots of things can set your OCD off. It's not giving in to a compulsion to delete your account. It makes sense to be selective about social media, in any case. There is a lot of rubbish out there and you need to filter it, simply because it's impossible to process it all. Just pick the things that help you, interest you or make you laugh!
