I am planning to tell my parents about how I feel, but I don't know how to start. I tried to tell my mum the other day and had cold hands and feet because I was scared.
How have any of you first told anyone how you feel? I would appreciate it LOT. :):)
This website is not just a website-It is like a savior.
It helps people with a similar problems overcome there fear or at least help them tell someone. It is very comforting for me to know I am not the only one.

Hi Zairella..I am so pleased to hear you are going to talk to your parents, they will be able to support you and you will feel more relaxed at home with them knowing..
The post I wrote about speaking to the counsellor applies to this, don't think about it before hand, just go for it..There's no right time, just do it..You could start by saying "I want to talk to you about how I'm feeling" and you know how you feel,so just be honest about it..
ps... and if you get nervous before,or at any point, remember to do the breathing technique I told you about (posted in 'is this ok?') It really does work. x
I blurted a concern out to some friends the other day which I regret but i too wouldn't know where to start with parents. I have slowly started to plant the seed though. Asking questions like " did you ever feel concerned for your mental health when youwent to university?"
Hello zairella. I hope that you're enjoying the holidays😀 I was also wondering how you're doing? I hope you are well and getting on fine..Let us know how its going for you.
Best wishes x
