I would like mostly to feel not the only one that experiences all these impulses, urges or guilty thoughts through experiencing OCD, would like to be in touch with others that experience other things or know of ways of help x

You're not alone Hun, I thought for a long time I was on my own but since my diagnosis I've realised it's more common than you think. I also have the intrusive/guilty thoughts side of OCD so can completely understand how you feel, I recently started cbt and can honestly say it's the best thing I did, even if I did have to force myself to go! The techniques I have been shown are amazing and would highly recommend.

That's nice to hear (if you know what I mean) that I'm not alone. I haven't really done any research into OCD I just know of some of the things I do isn't right or "normal". I'm looking to make an appointment with my doctor. I already suffer with anxiety and depression and think this maybe contributing to that as the guilt and hate I have for myself makes me feel down xx
Hi Emily.I totally understand how you're feeling, and I am glad to hear that you are making an appointment with your GP (you may have been by now). There are ways they can help and there are also books and CBT workbooks you can buy off Amazon, Brain lock (I think its called) is very good..Also a great help on YouTube is Katie d'Ath.
Best of luck x
