Hi went to a seated queen( the band!!) tribute called mercury last night at the grand old cheltenham town hall it was fabulous. was v tired by 930 but struggled on to the finish aT JUST GONE TEN!! my friend is on my insurance and drove us home. four of us went it was a nice evening..

That brings back memories - I saw Queen in 1982 on their Hot Space tour - it was absolutely brilliant. It was an all dayer at the Milton Keynes Bowl.

I am just so lucky that it was before RA - so wouldn't be able to deal with it now....!!

Glad you had a rocking time, Summer! I have seen these guys on you tube and know they are fab! Brian May and Roger Taylor think highly of Mercury as does Freddie's mum apparently! I tried to book Mercury for an event my voluntary work was holding, but as you can imagine, they are pretty much booked up all the time! I would like to see them too.

I am very much a Queen Connoisseur and had the great pleasure of seeing them numerous times since 1978 and also had even more pleasure to meet them twice. Best gig? Has to be Knebworth but a few others come close. Ah those were the days.
