how long will i be taking embrel?

how long, i heard two years, ive also heard a lifetime, i am taking the 25mg twice a week

I also take this dose, and sorry if this disappoint you but I have been taking it for 5 years with no sign of coming off it. i'd think lifetime is more like it.

Hello :) I used to take enbrel a few years ago but had to come off it because it wasnt working any more. There is no time limit on how long you take a medicine for, it depends if it is working for you or not. If enbrel is making life better for you and you dont have as much pain when youre taking it then thats good and hopefully that will last for a long time. Its not good having to change medicines all the time which I have had to do a lot recently because they havent been working. I wouldnt worry about how long youll be on it for because if its working and doing the job its meant to then thats good-its doing its job! :)
