Acupuncture

Well, my friend has been telling me to go see this guy who does Acupuncture, so finally booked myself in for next friday, apparently its going to work wonders, will let you all know how it goes...

I've been advised by my rheumy it normally helps with the ra pain however can trigger more off the fibro pain so I can't have, but really hope it helps you.

hi there julie. you can have acupuncture if you want to but just tell your acupuncturist about the fibro..make sure they are BACC registered... they will use very light techniques and light stimulation. maybe even ear or hand points.. i have treated many people with good effect even my two sisters...

Haven't thought of acupuncture for RA, but it worked a treat for my back pain so maybe I'll give it a go too. Let us know how you get on.

I had it last week from my physio it didn't help one bit so now has reffred me to a clinic so will see what happens but if its safe you its worh a try

most physio's aren't acupuncturists. they learn a few general points over a very short training period...some are excellent but most just learn a few trigger points..please don't let it put you off trying the real thing..
