This evening there will be a special joint meeting for the Birmingham and Solihull NRAS groups,

The meeting is from 18:30 - 20:30 and will be held at Broomfield Hall, Union Rd, Solihull, B91 3DH.

The guest speaker is Jamie Hewitt NRAS government affairs manager who will be talking about the work NRAS have been doing on both the planned Health and Welfare reforms and it's possible impact on those with RA.

Everyone welcome and you do NOT have to be an NRAS member to attend.

I'm really looking forward to it! I've prepared a handout which summarises our latest activities and contains some suggested text for letters to MPs.

Let's get campaigning!

Good luck Jo, Bev and Jamie. Hope it goes really well and there is a good turn out. Would have loved to come along but travelling on trains is unmanageable at the moment due to ineffective knees and other bits and pieces!

will be thinking of you ;)

Meeting went well, it's such a complicated subject and of course it's still going through parliament. Jamie did a grand job, and I think we may have a few budding campaigners in the ranks of the Birmingham and Solihull groups :)
