Afternoon all on this lovely sunny day. I have been to the hospital in coventry this morning ref; my knee. My surgeon is sooo pleased with me. He is amazed that i have made so much progress and it has gone better than even he had thought. I still have a long way to go before it is fully heeled. He ordered another x-ray and then told me to go home. In the x-ray dept they took several x-rays and the nurse that did them tols me that if i have to come back i must tell them when i come in that the joint goes from the top of the scar to the bottom and that it is a big joint.
So here i am hubby down the allotment, before he went he got the lawnmower out for me and set it up. I then went out and cut the back lawn, bot was it hard. After a rest i am going to go and try and cut the front lawn.
I hope you all are enjoying the sun while it is here.......

Hooray!
I feel a jig coming on!!
xx
ps - just pop back to the West Country and do my grass for me please. It's as high as an elephant's eye
Pen, i'm tattered now. Next door cut the front grass for me so i did not overdo it too much. I am chuffed to bits after seeing the surgeon. It also helps that he is not bad looking either. I may have ra and health issues, but i'm not blind and i like to window shop.....xxx
Joanne,if nothing else i will get a lovely tan. Rocker is out front and i have been enjoying the sun. Isn't it surprising how a bit of good news lifts you up. Love sylvi.xx
I've been out in the garden too - progress is slow but somebody's got to do it! As soon as I put my shorts on the sun goes in & the red ants start their plan of attack. Pleased to hear about your knee - it's such a relief when your body cooperates isn't it?
Sounds like a long haul & great to know that things are going so well.
I hear tomorrow is going to be nice as well christina. I am not that far away from ypu as i live between nuneaton and coventry. It is amazing how some good news can lift the spirit. Love sylvi.xx
