Has anybody used a "pain pen"?? Its kind of zaps you??

So far it's given my hand a bit of a numb sensation.

have heard of them. sorry not used one.. but it will probably work in a smilar way to a tens machine,, which I do use.

I tried a pain pen a couple of years ago but, to be honest, it made my hands hurt so much trying to click it, I had to stop. Sorry this may not be too helpful, but as you have possibly discovered, it's quite difficult to press with RA hands.

Hi Marnie - Yes I have one too. Like Jean says it hurts to use the blooming thing. But having said that it does work short term. You know I had forgotten I had it, must seek it out. Before I was diagnosed I used to take it to work with me, and use it on my knee and wrists. I feel daft for forgetting about it really. i expect it is in one of my old work coats....

I think I got fed up of it because it used to hurt my fingers to use it and like I would spend half the day zapping all over my body, because everything was hurting!

You could always get someone to do it for you? I shall dig mine out and keep you posted.

I went to a family friends house last night and her husband past away in December and he had RA so she loaded me with gadgets. I've got the pain pen, magnetic bracelets (do they work? ) and also a metal rod that makes water magnetised! Il give anything a try hahaha x

Hi Taro - Have visited your website. Is this something you can do without a complete change of lifestyle? I mean I know it looks as if it is a way of life as much as a "technique" - does it fit into "modern" living?
