pain in the neck.....?

hi, this is my first blog on here, i was diagnosed with RA last september and referred to rheumy 3 months later told to go on MTX but needed a reacuring cyst removed first, now on MTX 15ml & folic acid 10ml a week & depo- medrone 40ml injection once a month started these meds at the begining of may still get pain now and then but on the whole have improved a lot but every couple of weeks since about 6 weeks ago get pain in back of the neck witch lasts couple of days & feel drained a bit day after MTX can any one relate to this. thanks wolves.

Hi Wolves

I always feel very tired the day after my MTX, I think you will find a lot of people on here tell you the same.

I went through a stage of getting a lot of pain in my neck and shoulders - felt like a bad crick but came and went over a few days each time. I think it was the RA for sure because of the way it arrived and departed so randomly. I haven't had it since starting the MTX - so hopefully once the MTX kicks in properly you will find the neck and other pains go away. Good luck and welcome to the site. Tilda x
