I'm not a medical expert, but my understanding is that whether or not you get the side effects from MTX isn't related to the levels of the different elements of your blood. So although a level of 2 is at the bottom of what's normal for neutrophils it shouldn't make any difference to how you react to restarting the MTX. However, since it is low I guess that they'll keep a close eye on you to check it doesn't drop again.
As you are taking MTX and your white count is down, I think the thing that you need to be careful of is coming into contact with infection - easier said than done! If you know someone has a cold etc try and avoid them. Also if you feel as if you are coming down with something (cold etc) don't delay in seeing your doctor. Also as Polly says make sure they are monitoring your white count closely. x
Dear Megant
For medical advice it is always best to address these questions to your own rheumatology team. If you are concerned, you should ask them about the effects that this could have and what you need to be aware of.
Kind regards

Hi, My wife was suffering from low blood count of 5.6 3 months ago until a friend of mine recommended a new stem cell technology supplements which act as a catalyst to the bone marrow to produce 30% more stem cells in the blood system within 1 hour of consumption. After taken the supplements for 2 weeks, she went for a minor operation to remove a fibroid and polyps in the uterus. She undergo a blood test prior to the operation and found that her blood count went up to 11.8. Just last week, she went for another blood test and discovered that her blood count is now 12.8. The Stem cell supplements works and it is all 100% natural product - a special type of blue-green algae which you can read at daniel1132.stemtechbiz.com.my/. Thank you for reading.
