Bruising?

My thighs have huge brown bruises.

Is it anything to do with RA?

Hello Elsa, not sure if it is ra related.

but i do know on most of the dmard medication it says if there is unexplained bruising report it to your GP?Consultant. So if you are on those that may be the reason.

DO you have a rheumatology nurse that you can contact?

If you can't account for the bruising any way then I would ask your GP today before they shut for Easter. TTx

Are you on steroids if so that could be the cause of your bruising. As others have said see your gp. Due to steroids i get bruise like marks on my arms.

Steroids do make people bruise. I get bruises on my arms & legs if I just lean against something. I dropped the soap the other day & it bounced & hit my leg & I ended up with a big bruise, but at least it missed my foot!

Hi Elsa

As other have said, you need to get this checked by a doctor. It is not a typical symptom of RA, so worth making the doctor aware and seeing if they can get to the bottom of what's caused this.
