Osteoporosis drug Movymia

Hi, I have been prescribed this drug for osteoporosis . I have taken it for two months and have developed leg pain, nerve I think, as well as heart palpitations, I haven't taken it for a week now and the side effects have stopped . My worry is that permanent damage is being done. Anybody got any thoughts or experience to share?Thanks

did you inform tour medical team who prescribed it as they can come up with a solution. Never worry if a medication feels wrong just keep them upto date so they can find a solution. I have had a tonne of medication that my body does not like but on all my history so it means they can make informed decisions 🥰 I take Colecalciferol for mine .

Try calling the Royal Osteporosis Socirty to get information on that drug & their opinions .l.then armed with that information call your rheumy team to discuss your situation,

As mentioned the ROS has good advice. Have a look at their advice on this medication:

The problems you're having don't sound much like side effects and could have been due to something else, so worth discussing this with your medical team.
